Alrighty, I know I should be working on my report. Truly, I am really working on it. But just as I was browsing through my hard drive, I saw some photos which I took from Brissy during a workshop. So I was brought to Comfort At My Table by K. I really love the ambience and the lightings. The table was very white and very old school kind of style.
We were allocated to a table and were served with this set of meu. They only have Brekky (Aussie slang for breakfast) menu and the cafe is something like Wild Honey (www.wildhoney.com.sg) in Singapore. But anyway, it is only 9-ish and the crowds were already there. I took a long tine to decide what to order but K already knew what to order. I prefer dish with poached eggs and hence I ordered egg on toast (see picture below)

Yes, they are famous for their mocha. I do not know why too. It tasted great but not fantastic those kind.
Yeah, I know I am plain and simple but this is mine! I just ordered egg on toast with extra ham because K was afraid that I will not be full. I do not eat that much anyways.
Egg Benedict which I kinda regret not ordering it. Because it is their signature dish and it tasted really good except for the Salmon part! I detest Salmon!
As mentioned before, they are famous for their mocha. So you can choose the size of your mocha by CUP, MUG or BOWL. This guy ordered a bowl of mocha! It is very unique. I would like to open a cafe that offer such sizes!
Another sweet favourite of mine is Spanish Doughnuts which is also known as Churros. This was made from fresh because I saw the lady pressing the dough from the french press machine. It was so chewy and fresh and warm. The chocolate was not sweet and hence it blended the churros so well! K and I were busily munching this!
Aside from the brissy city, I also visited University of Queensland. You couldnt believe that they have sucha cute lolly shop! I like those little figures!
Also, went to Max Brenner to get some gifts for S and my colleagues. We had to cross the brisbane bridge and a very freaking long walk to reach Max Brenner shop. It is located at South Bank there, near the market place and also near the Art Musesm. I always mix up South Bank and Sunny Bank! I have to google it!!!!
Then went to this place at St Lucia there to grab this Denmark icecream which claimed to be the best of the best in St Lucia. LOL. It is the best because St Lucia does not have much stuffs anyways! LOL.
So I ordered PassionFruit and Tiramisu. I know I am very predictable but so be it!
So the next day, I went to Sunny Bank (this time sure correct) with K to grab the best Udon. Trust me, I never like Udon until I have the taste of this. I will certainly go back to the shop again!!! Here is the address

Believe it or not, it is damn yummy and the japanese lady will make for you on the spot! Totally very authentic taste!
Here is the menu and many more. I ordered the Spicy Pork Mince Udon. Yummilicious!!!!
You can also ordered this Hokkaido Hot Spring Egg! It is very popular and that explain why it only have one left and they will keep topping up! Almost everyone who went there will add this to their dish! So basically you ordered a bowl of Udon of your flavour and then you choose the toppings of what you want. Very unique and Jap style!
Also, went to Sakuraya to get Pearl Milk Tea! Very expensive, cost like AUD$7 but very yummmmmy! I order matcha mocha.... the pearls were oiishhhiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not done with dessert yet, so K and I went to meet fresh to eat her favourite cold dessert - Herbal Jelly. It was really yummy, the taro and sweet potato starch damn chewy like the pearls!
So eventually I ended up drinking my Campos coffee to finish such a great day! In brissy, Campos and Merlo Coffee are sorta top grade coffee.. Of course cant be compared to Sydney and Melbourne coffeee... LOL... I will leave you guys to decide.. But you should really trust me on my taste (LOL! Kidding!!!)!
